She-Hulk writers wanted to use Spider-Man

In a The Direct interview by Pamela Pamela GoresShe-Hulk series creator and head writer Jessica Gao spoke about the array of Marvel characters available to use for the show. It’s normal for fans and media to be excited for the next great character now that Marvel has entered the homestretch of Phase 4 and with their Phase 5 & 6 announcement. We all want to know who will show up and how great actors will collaborate but there are still limits to some and how things are done.

During the interview Gao drops how she wasn’t able to use Spider-Man for She-Hulk and before you go WTF please calm down, this is just common knowledge. Sony owns the film rights to Spider-Man and without their say so, Marvel Studios cannot use the character in any live action films.

If you want to know what the contract says and get detailed information just Google that shit. It’s out there and the point of this article is to take advantage of the fact that once again we were denied Spider-Man’s rightful owners from using the character who belongs to the Marvel Universe.

Look folks the clock has been ticking for a while and it’s time for Sony to give up Spider-Man to Marvel. I know it, you know it, we know it, they know it. Sony Spider-Man spinoffs are the equivalent to Fox X-Men and dare I say DC/WB. They are imitations of the real thing. When you want to read about Spider-Man, buy Spider-Man, have anything Spider-Man you go to Marvel. So why do we keep going to someone else to give us Marvel movies especially those of Marvel’s main staple character? When we know damn well that Marvel Studios provides the definitive and best version of the product? THEY ARE FREAKING MARVEL!

I love Spider-Man but look at how Netflix stopped with Daredevil and then two years went by and boom, now we are getting Daredevil: Born Again. The same thing is capable with Spider-Man. If we are patient we can get more Spidey than ever and the best version of him accurately portrayed in a way that perfectly fits into the MCU rather than create more plot holes and back itself into a corner.
